EKO HOT BLOG reports that armed bandits on Tuesday night attacked Angwa Kadara in Kaduna State’s Juji community.
This online media platform learned that the attack lasted till early Wednesday morning.
One woman was slain, another was kidnapped, and three people were shot, including the Commander of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), whose unit resisted the onslaught.
The motorcycles of five bandits are said to have been found.
Disclosing what transpired an indigene, Bossan Apollos, who claimed he got the information about the terrorists’ attack from two residents said the youths revolted without fear and caused the bandits to be terrified.
“The bandits came to Juji with the intention of kidnapping people. These men aren’t as tough as they appear. Some people believe they are strong because of the guns they carry, yet they are not. “They’re just little guys,” Apollos explained.
So several of them went to a house in Juji where there was only the mother and her two sons. One of the sons had the audacity to approach a bandit. He allegedly raised the young robber and slammed him to the ground, drawing the attention of the other criminals. With a machete, they were able to injure the mama’s son, but he luckily escaped, leaving his sibling and mother behind.
The bandits kidnapped the two of them and attempted to advance into the village to kidnap other people. They met a Bajju man and brought him with them. While they were leaving, a large group of young people erupted in a cacophony of shouting and commotion. The kids didn’t have guns, but they did have courage. They were advancing towards the captors, yelling “karya ne karya ne.”
“The robbers were terrified by the youths’ bravery, so they had to retreat and disappear into the bush.” Unfortunately for them, as they progressed, they were intercepted by soldiers in armoured vehicles and tanks.
“The soldiers opened fire, scattering the robbers in different directions, leaving some of their prisoners behind.”

The Bajju guy was able to navigate his way behind a tree and was followed by the mama’s son, but Mama did not pursue them.
“The bandits continued to exchange shots with the soldiers until they were forced to retreat. The Bajju man and Mama’s son returned home separately, but the bandits accompanied Mama.”
