EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Rotimi Amaechi Support Group has intensified efforts to ensure the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, emerges as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking at the inauguration of the Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi Campaign Organisation on Monday in Asaba, the South-South Coordinator, Chief Victor Odebala, said the minister “stands tall among other presidential aspirants.”
He said, “I am delighted to be appointed as South-South coordinator of CRANN, I have looked among all the presidential aspirants, Amaechi stands tall.
“Based on his political antecedents right from when he was a Students Union Leader, Speaker, and Governor, his performance shows that he is a man that can fix the economy and security of the nation they if elected President”
On his part, the Chairman Board of Trustees of CRANN, Dr. Evens Ogbueji called on the people, especially, APC in the South-South to rally around and canvass votes for the emergence of Amaechi as the APC candidate.
While describing Amaechi as detribalized and servant leader, the BOT Chairman said he is the best for the 2023 presidential seat having gathered experience over the years.

He said, “We thank God that Rotimi Amaechi heard our appeal and join the presidential race. We are confident that he will lead Nigeria well following his antecedents in governance. Therefore, I urge every one of you to support his aspiration to become the president of Nigeria come 2023.”
