EKO HOT BLOG reports that the strike by the National Assembly’s Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) has been called off.
Since the penultimate Monday, the workers have been on an indefinite strike to press for the payment of certain allowances.
The PASAN Chairman, Sunday Sabiyi, addressed the workers at the National Assembly’s entrance on Tuesday, saying they had agreed to call off the strike after reaching an agreement with Senate leadership.

However, if the agreements reached are not implemented by the end of July, the workers have threatened to resume their strike.
