EKO HOT BLOG reports that Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, well known as (Sunday Igboho), on Tuesday called on all his loyalists to “honour” him and be present at the Court of Appeal Ibadan, Oyo State, when his suit with the Department of State Services (DSS) resumes on Wednesday.
Igboho is in a legal battle with the DSS over the destruction of his properties and loss of lives at his residence when security operatives raided his home on July 1, 2021.
The DSS is contesting a N20 billion fine, saying paying the damages awarded against it by an Oyo State High Court, sitting in Ibadan, to Igboho will affect the Nigerian economy.
It would be recalled that the DSS had invaded Igboho’s house in Ibadan, killing two of his aides, while 12 others were arrested.
The 49-year-old separatist leader, who escaped the bloody raid, was declared wanted for allegedly stockpiling arms to destabilise Nigeria.
