EKO HOT BLOG reports that the presidential candidate of the Labour party, Peter Obi has furthered his consultation with the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC.
This online media gathered that Obi on Tuesday met with the leadership of the union which is an umbrella organisation for trade unions in Nigeria.
Obi is discussing with the leaders to solicit their support ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Recall that the presidential hopeful joined Labour Party after dumping his former camp, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The NLC and Trade Union Congress on the other hand are major stakeholders of the Labour party where Obi has redeemed his chance of contesting the 2023 presidential election.

Meanwhile, Adeyanju, a human rights activist and social commentator, stated that Peter Obi and Kwankwaso would face huge difficulties winning the Presidential election, because bigger parties will unleash vote-buying and disenfranchise voters.
