EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi on Friday met with a delegation of the European Union (EU) in Abuja.
This online media platform gathered that Obi met with the Managing Director, Africa Directorate, European External Action Service, Rita Laranjinha and some of her colleagues.
The LP presidential candidate and the EU officials exchanged views on matters of mutual interest to Nigeria and the European Union during the meeting.
Obi was accompanied to the meeting by the former Anambra governorship candidate, Oseloka Obaze, and a chieftain of the LP, Doyin Okupe.

Earlier, Obi had visited the Chairman of the Northern Elders Forum, Prof Ango Abdullahi.
Obi giving the reason for his visit on Friday said he met with Abdullahi to seek his blessings and fatherly advice.
He further stated that he also discussed some political issues with the elder statesman.
The former governor of Anambra State also took out time to visit the hometown of the party’s vice presidential candidate, Dr Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed.
Obi while addressing newsmen after the visit said, “I came to get blessings and fatherly advice as well as discuss some political issues with the elder statesman.

“This is in view of his position, especially in the north and his persistent agitation for good democratic leadership in the country.”
Obi added that part of what was discussed was how to make Nigeria a productive nation.
