However, typhoid is an intestinal infection that is also characterized by fever. This is the reason some people find it difficult to know the difference between the two diseases.

1.When someone has typhoid, they experience abdominal pain. The gastrointestinal tract infection is caused by paratyphoid and salmonella typhoid, bacteria that attack the intestines.
2. Malaria is caused by an infection from the plasmodium parasite of anopheline, a malaria mosquito, which goes into the blood and tries to break down the immune system.
3. People living in an environment where there are gutters, dirty water in unused containers, and a lack of mosquito nets are predisposed to be infected with malaria.
However, when people who don’t cook their food very well, drink dirty water or use it to cook, this can cause typhoid fever. An example of a food that can cause typhoid fever when not properly cooked is red meat.
4. Typhoid makes people have stomach discomfort. They vomit and have watery bowel movements. Typhoid fever causes intermittent high body temperature. You are infected either through contaminated food or water.
However, when you have malaria, you may not have intestinal disorder depending on whether you don’t have other underlying infections. When malaria gets to a stage where it affects certain organs in the body, it can lead to death.
