Tinubu Reveals Meeting Details With Obasanjo In Abeokuta

The details of Tinubu’s meeting with Obasanjo has emerged

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), paid a visit to the former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s Penthouse residence at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta on Wednesday.

According to this Online Media Platform, Tinubu paid a visit to Obasanjo with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbaajabiamila, Chief Bisi Akande, and Nuhu Ribadu.

When Tinubu’s helicopter landed within the OOPL about 1pm, he was welcomed by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, former Governors Segun Osoba and Gbenga Daniel, Speaker of the House of Assembly Olakunle Oluomo, and other prominent government personnel.

Tinubu and his entourage arrived at Obasanjo’s residence around 1:20 p.m. to meet their host.

According to an inside source, the former Lagos State Governor, Abiodun, Gbajabiamila, Osoba, Akande, Ribadu, and others first met with Balogun Owu behind closed doors.

After approximately an hour, the former President drew Tinubu into a private room for another conversation.

According to reports, both of them had a private conversation that none of others who went in with the APC national leader were aware of.

It was gathered that Tinubu later had lunch at Obasanjo’s house before departing after nearly two hours

When approached by pressmen downstairs, the presidential contender declined to give an interview and ‘hopped’ into the waiting bus that would transport him to MKO Abiola Stadium.

Tens of APC members flooded the former President’s home, singing, drumming, and dancing.
