1. Bread
This might sound weird to you but it is one of the foods that are capable of causing a worsened blood pressure readings. The reason is that even though bread doesn’t taste salty, it contains alot of it. As a matter of fact, it has been proven that a slice of bread contains about 80 to 230 milligrams of salt thus making it an unhealthy food for people with high blood pressure especially in high quantity.
2. Salty Snacks
Salty snacks such as chips, crackers and popcorn may be high on sodium thus making them unhealthy and unsuitable for people with higher than normal blood pressure. If you don’t want your condition to get worse, then there is need for you to completely stay away from salty foods and snacks.
3. Processed meats
This is another food that should not be consumed often as a Hypertensive Patient. The reason is that, most processed meats and even generally, processed foods contain sodium to a high extent which makes them unhealthy for someone suffering from high blood pressure.
