President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday conferred the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) on Tobi Amusan.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Amusan recently hit the headlines after winning a gold medal in the 100m hurdles at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon, United States of America.

Amusan also set a new world record in the process.
The 25-year-old was the first Nigerian athlete (male or female to achieve the feat.
The Ogun-state-born athlete also won a gold medal in the same event at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
Just last week, she successfully defended her Diamond League title.
