OFFICIAL: PDP Flags Off Presidential Campaign In Akwa Ibom (Photos)
PDP has flagged off its presidential campaign in Akwa Ibom.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), ahead of the 2023 general election, has officially flagged off its presidential campaign in Akwa Ibom State.
This online medium gathered that the presidential campaign is being held at the Nest of Champions Stadium in Uyo, the state capital.

Some of the dignitaries in attendance at the event, include the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar, his running mate and Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa and the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel.
Others include the Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri, former vice president, Nnamdi Sambo, former Governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu and the former lawmaker representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye among other top party officials.
However, the camp of the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike was nowhere to be found as the party kicks off its presidential campaign.
The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde were not in attendance.
The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel is the Chairman of the Presidential campaign council.
PDP is hoping to take over power at the end of President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure in 2023.
