Buhari, who travelled to London for a “routine medical check-up”, arrived in Nigeria on Sunday, November 13, 2022, according to his spokesman, Femi Adesina.
Since he left Nigeria on Monday, October 31, 2022, the president had been busy.
On Sunday, November 6, 2022, he received Morocco’s Ambassador to the UK, Hakim Hajoui, who came to deliver a personal message from His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
Days later, on November 10, 2022, Buhari visited King Charles III at Buckingham Palace.
The next day, he published a scathing opinion piece in the Washington Post, a top American newspaper.
The piece attacked Western countries’ hypocrisy on the climate change crisis.
