EKO HOT BLOG reports that there is a heavy presence of security operatives in strategic locations in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State ahead of the judgement by the Osun Governorship Election Petition Tribunal billed for today.
Former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola is challenging the victory of Ademola Adeleke during the 2022 Osun gubernatorial election on July 16th 2022, alleging infractions in 749 polling units and certificate forgery.

It was gathered that operatives of the police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps(NSCDC), Amotekun and other security operative were deployed to popular junctions and political offices.
Security operatives were sighted at Ola-Iya junction, Oke-Fia, Old-Garage, Lameko and many others. Also, armed policemen were deployed to Oyetola and Adeleke’s campaign offices, including the secretariats of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and All Progressives Congress(APC).
There was heavy security presence in front of the court as patrol vans numbering about six were stationed at the entrance of the court as operatives checked and screened people entering the court premises.
