Akeredolu, Others Honour Late Dr. Olusegun Agagu at 6th Memorial Lecture.

Ondo state governor Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu,SAN represented by his deputy, Hon. Agboola Alfred Ajayi on Friday, September 13, 2019 joined the Agagu family at the 6th year memorial lecture in honour of their patriach and former Governor of Ondo State, late Dr. Olusegun Kokumo Agagu(CON) at the Civic Centre in Lagos.

The memorial lecture was delivered by emeritus professor Oye Ibidapo – Obe, former vice chancellor of the University of Lagos.

The deputy governor in his speech described the Late Agagu as a worthy son of the state and one whose footprints in the saddle of leadership continues to receive applause even in death. He appreciates the Olusegun Agagu Foundation for keeping the memory and virtue of the late elderstatesman alive.

Other personalities at the event include Lagos state deputy governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, Dr. Ameerah Gurib-Fakim, former president, republic of Mauritius, former secretary general of the commonwealth, chief Emeka Anyaoku, founder, Adeleke university Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, wife of Nigeria’s former president, Mrs Bola Obasanjo, former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and members of the Agagu family.
