Nigerian Military Neutralises Bandits, Recovers Weapons In Zamfara

The Nigerian Army was able to recover weapons and motorcycles from the bandits in their operation.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Nigerian military has neutralised scores of bandits in Zamfara State as part of Operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD), which is aimed at combating the ongoing insecurity in the region. The operation was conducted along the Daki Takwas-Zugu-Danmarke road in Bukkuyum Local Government Area.
According to the report, many of the bandits were believed to have been neutralized during the operation, while others escaped into the forests with possible gunshot wounds.
The report also stressed that the military is determined to restore peace to the region by dealing with all the bandits, as they have refused to embrace the peace accord and reconciliation initiated by the state government.

During the operation, the military operatives also recovered a significant number of motorcycles, weapons, and other looted materials, including rustled animals.
The military is set on bringing an end to the killing of innocent people in the region and ensuring that peace is restored.
