EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nigerian singer, Brymo has criticized Peter Okoye, one-half of the popular music duo PSquare, over his recent social media exchange with fellow musician Seun Kuti.
The disagreement started after Seun commented on Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra state, making a ridicule of the politician’s aspirations to be elected as Nigeria’s president.
This, of course, drew the ire of Peter Okoye into targeting Seun Kuti.

Peter responded by asking Seun to remove the Kuti surname from his name to prove his relevance in the music industry, referencing the late Afro musician, Fela Kuti, who was the father of Seun Kuti.
In response, Brymo took to social media to express his opinion on the matter. He accused Peter of being self-serving and questioned the validity of his own success.
Brymo suggested that Peter should have deleted the post instead of engaging in the argument further, noting the negative connotation it has for Peter Okoye’s own family, specifically his own father.
