EKO HOT BLOG reports that popular Nigerian skit maker and brand influencer, Amarachi Amusi, also known as Ashmusy, in a social media post revealed she rejected a tempting offer of 20 million Naira to advertise for a popular politician because of her support for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
Amarachi made the disclosure via her Instagram stories, where she stated that her decision was influenced by the realization of the implications it would have on the future of her children and generations to come.

She explained that she could not sell her soul to the devil and would not make a stupid decision that would make her loved ones suffer in the country.
She further stated that she had received offers of 10 million to 20 million Naira to post an advert for other candidates she did not want, adding that it was tempting but she had to turn it down. She expressed her hope that Peter Obi would win the presidential election and fulfill all his promises to the Nigerian people.
Amarachi stated, “Hopefully Peter Obi wins on Saturday, and not just wins, but wins and does his job 100 percent. God is taking full control this time abeg!! Because in this country, even the rich are suffering, how can I work so hard to make money in Naira, just for the Naira to be dropping like pure water every day, if you change it to pounds or dollars, you will just cry, please we are all tired, forget.”
Amarachi’s decision to reject the offer has been commended by many Nigerians who have taken to social media to applaud her for standing firm and refusing to compromise her integrity.
