PHOTOS: Rhodes-Vivour Casts Vote In Ikeja As Lagosians Elect Next Governor

• The governorship and house of assembly elections in Lagos are underway.

• Many voters have already voted for their next governor and house of assembly member.

• The LP governorship candidate is among those who already cast their votes.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, also known as GRV, has cast his vote at PO 045 in Anifowoshe, Ikeja, Lagos State.

He is hoping to unseat the incumbent governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Mr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is also in the race.

LP governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, casts vote

The election is expected to be hotly contested after the LP defeated the ruling party, APC, in the presidential election in Lagos.

Rhodes-Vivour has emerged as a popular candidate whose message has resonated with the teeming youths who are the backbone of the unexpected rise of the LP.

LP governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, casts vote

After casting his vote, the LP candidate urged residents to come out and vote, promising that his team is working to ensure maximum security.

“I just casted [sick] my vote at my Polling Unit in Anifowoshe, Ikeja State Capture must end!! Every Lagosian’s voice, lives and properties matter,” he said.

“Please come out & vote, we are working very hard & implementing security countermeasures, if you haven’t voted yet please don’t let yourself be disenfranchised, remain steadfast & please come out, thugs have been chased away in multiple areas.

“A fight for freedom is never won easily. God bless you all.”
