JUST IN: Labour Party’s Rhodes-Vivour Loses Polling Unit To Sanwo-Olu In Lagos

The governorship and house of assembly elections held in Lagos on Saturday.

Many voters have voted for the next governor and house of assembly members.

The votes are now being counted and results have come in from some polling units.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Labour Party (LP) candidate in the Lagos State governorship election, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has lost his polling unit to the incumbent, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Sanwo-Olu polled 29 votes, while Rhodes-Vivour received 18 votes to lose his polling unit (PU01) at Oshifila Street, Anifowoshe, Ikeja.

Another contestant in the election, the Peoples Democratic Party’s Olajide Adeniran, popularly known as Jandor, polled two votes.
One vote was rejected as void.
In the House of Assembly election at the polling unit, the APC polled 34 votes, while LP got 15 and PDP polled one.
