Tinubu At 71: Epe Chief Imam To Lead Prayer Session For President-elect Wednesday

  • A prayer session for the celebrant has been scheduled to hold at First Epe Central Mosque, Epe.

  • The president-elect is not expected at the session as he is not in the country.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Grand Chief Imam of Epe Division, His Eminence, Sheikh Sa’Dallah Fabiola Abdur-Rahmon-Aliru, has announced a prayer session in commemoration of the 71st birthday of President-elect Bola Tinubu.

The session is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at the First Epe Central Mosque, Oke-Balogun, Epe, Lagos State, by 10:00am.

Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos, was elected president of Nigeria on February 25, 2023.

On Monday, he announced the cancellation of his annual birthday colloquium, urging his well-wishers to pray and thank God for his life.

The president-elect is currently not in the country.

According to his team, he travelled to Paris, France, last Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from where he will go to London, United Kingdom, to rest.
