EKO HOT BLOG reports that Belle, the wife of Chelsea defender Thiago Silva, has expressed her sadness over the Blues’ latest defeat in the Premier League. Chelsea lost 2-0 to Aston Villa on Saturday, marking their tenth league defeat of the season and dropping them to eleventh position in the league table.
The match, which was played away from home, saw Ollie Watkins and John McGinn score a goal each for Aston Villa. Thiago Silva was unable to feature in the game due to a ligament injury.

Belle took to Twitter to express her disappointment with the outcome of the game. “I don’t say anything anymore,” she wrote. “I look at the table and we are in eleventh place, very sad…let’s get ready for Tuesday.”
Chelsea will now prepare to face Liverpool in their next Premier League game on Tuesday. Despite their recent poor form, the Blues will be hoping to bounce back with a positive result against one of their toughest opponents.
Thiago Silva has been an important player for Chelsea this season, having joined the club from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2020. The experienced defender has helped to solidify Chelsea’s backline and has played a key role in the team’s run to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
