EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola, has revealed in an interview with TVC’s ‘Your View’ that she lost her virginity through rape, which caused her to see sex as a punishment. The actress shared her story while discussing red flags in marriages and the reasons why her first marriage crashed.
According to reports, Daramola revealed that her ex-husband wanted sex daily, which she found difficult to cope with due to her past experience with rape. She said she always felt scared when she was going home, and the situation made her see sex as a form of punishment.

Daramola revealed that she saw red flags before getting married to her first husband but ignored them. She explained that she jumped into the marriage due to peer pressure and her ex-husband’s eagerness to get married. Daramola said the signs were there, including anger issues and suspicion about who she was talking to, but she overlooked them.
The actress narrated that her first experience in the marriage was on her wedding night when her husband asked her to cut her sim card. She explained that she had to stay in the marriage because she was concerned about what people would say.
Daramola emphasized the importance of paying attention to red flags before getting married, adding that she has learned to speak up about things that bother her in her current marriage. She also encouraged people to seek help and speak out about their experiences with rape and sexual assault.
