Yvonne expressed her desire to go back to school, so her father encouraged her to write the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination to apply for another university.
After being rusticated, Yvonne had to start all over again. She shared that when she got admitted to a new school, her coursemates at her former school had already graduated. She was sad and depressed about it. She added that the next school she attended was difficult to connect with her classmates because she felt like the mama of the class, being three to four years older than her peers.
Despite the challenges, Yvonne revealed that she chose not to buy a certificate and instead wanted to experience school life. In the interview, she said, “I did deliverance because [my mother] thought something was wrong with me.” Yvonne’s father was supportive of her and did not judge her for her past mistakes.
