According to the Eko Hot Blog publisher, Prof. Okubena-Dipeolu was deeply committed to the progress and development of Epe.

He listed one of her contributions to Epe development as serving on the Scholarship Committee of the 20th ascension anniversary of HRM Oba Babatunde Ogunlaja.

“There is a time to live, and there is a time to leave. Somewhere between the cradle and the grave, divinity offers humanity the greatest treasure, which is time. Our merit in the hereafter is predicated on what we each do with our time on this side of eternity,” Otunba Abass said.

“Though her death is inexplicable, we take solace in the knowledge that she judiciously spent her time here and contributed his quota to the betterment of the Epe division and the advancement of the cause of humanity.

“She served on numerous committees in the Epe division aimed at the development of the community.
