BBN Star Sorry Story: ‘A Popular TV Show Host Stole My Idea For A Podcast’

EKO HOT BLOG reports that former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tope Adenibuyan, popularly known as Teddy A, has accused a popular TV host of stealing his podcast idea after he discussed it with him last year. Teddy A revealed the incident via his Instagram story recently.

According to the reality TV star, he had approached the TV host last year to collaborate with him in starting a football podcast on Instagram and YouTube.

He also requested that the beer brand the TV host represents should come on board as a sponsor. The TV host was said to have welcomed the idea and agreed to it.

Teddy A disclosed that he later discovered that the TV host had started a football podcast with the beer brand he suggested, without involving him. He stated that he suspected the brand may have declined his idea, or the TV host had other intentions.

He expressed his disappointment in the TV host for stealing his idea and not giving him due credit. Teddy A’s revelation has generated reactions from his fans on social media, with many expressing their disappointment at the TV host’s actions.

He wrote,

“Last year I reached out to a popular TV host about collaborating with me to start a football podcast on IG and YouTube. I asked if he could bring the big brand he represents on board (a beer brand) and he said sure why not, great idea fam.

“Suddenly baba begin give me excuses and I just knew the idea probably didn’t fly with the supposed brand or they had other ideas.

“Fast forward to a few weeks ago I’m seeing the same guy host a football podcast show on YouTube sponsored by the same beer brand.”

Teddy A rose to fame after his participation in the 2018 edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show. He has since established himself as a musician and media personality.
