Staff Of Iyare Motors Mourns Late Chairman

The staff and workers of Iyare Motors, a popular transport company in Edo State, Nigeria, have expressed shock and sadness at the death of their Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Abel Omoruyi (JP).

Omoruyi reportedly passed away on Friday from undisclosed causes.

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, also expressed his condolences in a statement, praising Omoruyi’s contributions to the growth of the transport sector in the state and country.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the staff and workers of Iyare Motors, a popular transport company in Edo State, Nigeria, have expressed shock and sadness at the death of their Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Abel Omoruyi (JP). Omoruyi reportedly passed away on Friday from undisclosed causes.
One of the senior drivers of the company, Dickson Izevbizua, who is the head driver of the Mile 2 Lagos park, and the second-most senior driver in the company, described Omoruyi as a good man who was like a father to all the staff members.

On Sunday, Izevbizua was captured saying he was yet to recover from the shock of the news. He added that Omoruyi had been very generous to the staff, changing their vehicles at the right time and opening up opportunities for them to make money for themselves. Izevbizua had been working for Iyare Motors for over 30 years.
The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, also expressed his condolences in a statement, praising Omoruyi’s contributions to the growth of the transport sector in the state and country.
Obaseki described Omoruyi as a thoroughbred businessman, philanthropist extraordinaire, and a rare breed of leader who epitomized the very best of the human spirit. The governor added that Omoruyi’s unwavering commitment to excellence, doggedness, and penchant for innovation would remain a shining example for generations to come.
