Panic As Gunmen Storm Plateau University, Invade Female Hostel

A female hostel at Plateau University was invaded by gunmen, causing panic and fear among the students.

The Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr John Agams, confirmed the incident to journalists.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Plateau State University (PLASU) has announced that an attempted attack by gunmen on its campus on Tuesday night was repelled by the institution’s security operatives.
According to the school authority, gunmen invaded the female hostel of the institution located in Bokkos between Tuesday night and Wednesday, but no abduction was reported.

Mr John Agams, the Public Relations Officer of the institution, confirmed the incident to journalists on Wednesday.
Agams said that the criminals attacked the institution to kidnap students, but they were repelled by the local security men in the university.
”It is true that gunmen attempted to kidnap some of our students, but the attempt was repelled by our local security men.
”In the process, one student was injured, but no student was abducted.
