Omokehinde noted that steps taken by the Tinubu administration in addressing corruption and financial crimes would give a sense of direction to where the country is headed for the next four years.
He advised the president to give necessary backing to financial crimes agencies so they can be able to carry out their duties unhindered.
Omokehinde appealed to President Tinubu to ensure all corruption cases including financial misappropriation cases against the Ogun and Lagos House of Assembly Speakers, Olakunle Oluomo and Mudashiru Obasa respectively reached a logical conclusion.
He said the prosecution of these top politicians would boost the fight against corruption across the country.
Omokehinde called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to make public its findings in all pending financial misappropriation and corruption cases being investigated.
“Transparency Society Network believes this step is necessary,” he said.
Omokehinde noted that state assemblies across the country needed to be prudent and transparent in public spending.
“We appeal that the EFCC or any Police authority in charge of fraud should probe these allegations in the interest of the public.
