Eko Hot Blog reports that a group of firms has unveiled the ‘Emilokan’ (It is my turn) Fabric in honour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The unveiling and launch of the ‘Emilokan’ fabric took place on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the Radisson Blue Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

The fabric is largely promoted by the As-Sakeenah Fabrics World owned by Mr. Shuayb Razaq Babamale, and sponsored by Dr. Abbey Onas of ZGM Investment Group, Arc. Zakirudeen Oladotun of Trends Group of and Alh. Lanrewaju Akanni Lamex Group.
Speaking to Eko Hot Blog, the host of the event and chairman of ZGM Investment Group, Dr. Abbey Onas said the fabric is a symbol of unity and a new dawn in Nigeria.
The socialite and businessman said the fabric honours President Tinubu‘s “great achievements” in entrenching democracy in Nigeria; and he called on Nigerians to embrace the fabric as a national identity and also support and work with the new administration.
Also speaking to Eko Hot Blog, the co-host of the event and the CEO of Trendsville Media, Mrs Madinat Adigun-Oladotun said the fabric is a creative way of pushing support for the president.
She said the fabric will serve as a tool of unity, national identity, and a means of putting Nigeria on the global landscape for entrepreneurship and creativity.
The unveiling of the ‘Emilokan’ fabric attracted distinguished personalities from the political, business, and traditional communities, including Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, the Asiwaju of Offa, Chief Tajudeen Oweyemi and the Maiyegun of Yorubaland and Fuji Maestro, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde, among others.
