Eko Hot Blog reports that the Speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin, has been re-elected as the Speaker of the 10th Assembly.
Ogundoyin, representing Ibarapa East State Constituency was reelected as Speaker on Wednesday, following the proclamation of the 10th Assembly for commencement of legislative duties by Governor Seyi Makinde.

Ogundoyin was nominated by Hon Dele Adeola, representing Iseyin/ Itesiwaju State Constituency, and his nomination was seconded by Hon Gabriel Babajide, representing Ibadan North II State Constituency.
Ogundoyin, who is the highest ranking member in the Assembly having joined the legislature since 2018, emerged unopposed as there was no other nomination for the position of the speaker.
