JUST IN: Tinubu in Closed-Door Meeting with The Deposed Emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido Sanusi at State House

Eko Hot Blog Reports that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is in a close-door meeting with the deposed Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi at the State House in Abuja.

Sanusi, who previously served as the Governor of the Central Bank, arrived at the Villa a few minutes before 5:00 pm.

This meeting comes just one week after President Tinubu suspended Godwin Emefiele, the former Governor of Nigeria’s central bank.

While the specific details of their discussion have not been made public, it is worthy of note that this is their first meeting since Tinubu assumed the presidency on May 29.
