Nigerians, NFF React To Death Of Of Ex-U20 Captain Isaac Success
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and football lovers in the country have reacted to the sudden death of former Super Eagles and Flying Eagles star Isaac Promise.
Ekohotblog earlier reported that Promise’s death was announced on Thursday by his US-based club Austin Bold.
The country’s football governing described Promise death as saddening and a big loss to the Nigeria football family.

In a statement issued by the NFF on Thursday, the football body prayed that the family will have the fortitude to bear the loss.
“The greatest loss a team can suffer is not on the scoreboard, it’s the death of a fellow teammate,” the club Chairman Austin Epstein said.
“It’s with shock and grief that we acknowledge the sudden death of Promise Isaac.
“On behalf of the BOLD organisation; we wish his wife, children and family strength and peace as they struggle to cope with his death.”
“We are sad to hear of the sudden demise of former Super Eagles forward, Isaac Promise. Promise was captain of the Beijing Olympics’ Eagles squad that won silver,” he said.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time. May his soul Rest In Peace, Amen.”

Nigerians took to Twitter to express shock at his demise as they prayed to God to help the family he left behind the strength to cope at this trying time.
