After Escaping Boko Haram, Chibok School Girl Finds Love In US – [See Photos]
Eko Hot Blog reports that one of the schoolgirls from the Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, that were abducted in 2014 by Boko Haram terrorists, Joy Bishara, has found love in the United States (US).
It would be recalled that 276 female students between the ages of 16 and 18 were kidnapped by terrorists in April 2014.
Bishara, however, was among the about 57 lucky girls said to have escaped the terrorists’ plot by reportedly jumping from the trucks on which their abductores were transporting them with.
The Nigerian Armed Forces subsequently rescued some others, but over 100 are still missing.
However, Bishara and her cousin, Lydia Pogu, who were among those who escaped the attack that caught global attention, relocated to the US.
They both graduated from Southeastern University recently, where Bishara obtained a degree in social work in 2021.
Reports, emerging however show that Bishara recently got engaged in the US.
