Davido’s Logistics Manager, Israel DMW, Apologizes To Muslim Community Over Controversial Video
Eko Hot Blog reports that Israel Afeare, popularly known as Israel DMW, the logistics manager and close associate of Nigerian music star Davido, has issued a public apology to the Muslim community. The apology comes in response to a controversial music video shared by Davido on his social media platforms.
In the now-deleted video, which featured Davido’s signee, Logos Olori’s new song ‘Jaye Lo,’ scenes depicted people praying in an Islamic manner while dancing. The video quickly sparked heavy criticism and backlash from the Muslim community, who found it disrespectful and inappropriate.

Although Davido promptly removed the contentious video from his social media pages, the Muslim community continued to demand a public apology from the singer.
Taking to his Instagram story, Israel DMW extended a heartfelt apology on behalf of Davido. He explained that the video was intended purely for entertainment purposes but was wrongly presented, causing unintended offense to the Muslim community.
In his statement, Israel DMW said, “Let me specially apologize to my Muslim brothers and sisters for the video my oga posted. It was purely an entertainment effort that was wrongly presented as a result of him wanting to uplift somebody, which is one of his hobbies. Make una no vex. Love you all.”
The public apology from Israel DMW reflects an attempt to address the concerns raised by the Muslim community and rectify any offense caused by the video. As Davido’s logistics manager and a prominent figure in the artist’s team, Israel’s statement carries weight and aims to diffuse the situation amicably.
