Ayodele Adewale Eulogize Chief Henry Ajomale At 75
It was a symbolic day as the heavy rain ushered in showers of blessings as Chief Henry Ajomale celebrated his 75th birthday at his residence in Lagos.
With thanks to GOD, family members, friends and political associates marked the joyful day with Chief Ajomale and members of his immediate family.
Papa was full of joy and thanks to Almighty GOD for giving him longevity of life in good health, the warmth and love of his wonderful family, the blessings of children and grandchildren and associates who had made his life very memorable.
In his 75 years he has made a mark in society – as a student’s leader in the university, he and late Dr. Tunji Otegbeye of blessed memories led the revolutionary Nigerian Students against the Nigerian Anglo defence pact of 1962; as a politician, he served meritoriously in various capacities from 1979 till date. Notably, he had served under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a special adviser; he also served as the longest serving Lagos State AC, ACN and APC Party chairman and was also the Chairman of all Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nigeria. He is also an accomplished lawyer and business mogul – he has been committed to adding the right values to society.
It was a personal pleasure for Comrade Ayodele Adewale, immediate past Executive Chairman, Amuwo Odofin Local Government to be part of the birthday celebration and join members of his family to wish him a very happy birthday, many more years in good health, greater wisdom and everything good in life.
Members of the Anglican diocese led by Rev. Kayode James and Rev. Okunuga were present and led a short prayer service in his honor.
This tribute was written by Ayodele Adewale, a former Chairman of Amuwo Local Govt.
