JUST IN: Barred Journalists Await Outcome As VP Shettima Leads NEC Meeting In Abuja
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nigeria’s Vice President (VP), Kashim Shettima, on Thursday, chaired the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
This online media platform learnt that journalists were barred from the meeting and were only stationed outside waiting to be briefed on the outcome.

There are expectations that issues to be discussed at the week’s NEC meeting may border on the current economic challenges in the country occasioned by the removal of the petrol subsidy.
Also expected to be discussed are security challenges across the country, with recent attacks in some parts of the North.
