Eko Hot Blog reports that Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, a former Deputy Governor of Lagos State and immediate past Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), has celebrated the coronation ceremony of the Onigando of Igando, His Royal Majesty Lasisi Gbadamosi, with the monarch.
The monarch recently celebrated 45 years anniversary of his reign.
In a statement over the weekend, Orelope-Adefulire hailed the Onigando for facilitating peace, development and growth not only to Igando and the entire Aworiland but also to Lagos State.
“You’re one of the longest serving monarchs in Lagos State and one of the most revered. You have proven to be a father to all, with your wisdom and knowledge radiating the length and breadth of the entire Aworiland and Lagos State,” she said.
“Kaabiyesi, your contributions to the development and growth of the entire Aworiland and Lagos State cannot be taken for granted.
“You’ve led and still leading us meritoriously, and we will continue to drink from well of knowledge and wisdom.”
The former deputy governor described the Igando monarch as a peace ambassador who has been at the forefront of promoting peace and tranquility in Aworiland and Lagos State.
“On behalf of my family, I wish you a happy and fulfilled 45th coronation anniversary celebration and I pray that God continues to give you healthy life, increase your wisdom from which we will continue to draw inspiration from,” she added.
