Wizkid Set To Launch Music Streaming App
Award-winning Nigerian Superstar singer, Ayodeji Balogun better known as Wizkid has unveiled his plans to launch a streaming app soon.
In an interview with Robert Bruce on UK radio station, Capital Xtra, the ‘Soco’ crooner revealed he is curre working in partnership with Nigerian bank United Bank Africa (UBA) on the new streaming app.
“My team and I, we’ve been working so hard. I have this new streaming app that I’m about to launch right now. In collaboration with United Bank for Africa. Those are my new partners.”
“We intend to create a streaming platform for people to put out their music and actually get revenue right into their pockets.”

Recall that Wizkid was made UBA’s newest brand ambassador.
The superstar also revealed plans of organizing a talent hunt in Africa, saying “We have a talent hunt we are trying to do back home. We’re going to go around and pick some of the best talents from every African country. Collaborate and help them build and see, whatever we can do for the culture”
Wizkid holds the record of being the most streamed African artist with 4 billion streams, which cuts across streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Tidal, Deezer and SoundCloud.
