Sections of the third mainland bridge, one of the busiest roads in the country, have failed for some time now, constituting a nightmare to drivers and worsening traffic.

The Lagos transportation ministry said the remedial work will start at 7.00 am each day and end at 7.00 pm.

The statement described the repair as a “palliative work” by the state government in collaboration with the federal government.

Toriola said the repair will be in two phases, noting that the Iyana Oworonshoki inward Adeniji Adele/Lagos Island section will be the initial point of attention.
