JUST IN: Sam Larry In Lagos Police Custody Over MohBad's Death

Eko Hot Blog reports that Balogun Olamilekan Eletu, better known as Sam Larry, the head honcho for Marlian Records, is currently in the custody of the Lagos State Police Command in connection with the death of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as MohBad.

The police spokesperson in Lagos, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, announced the development in a post on X late Thursday night.

Recall that MohBad died on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, under mysterious circumstances.

His death came amid a lingering dispute with Naira Marley, the owner of his former record label, Marlian Records.

Following MohBad’s demise, videos emerged of Larry, Marley’s head huncho, apparently assaulting the late singer.

The ‘Feel Good’ crooner also landed in hospital multiple times, alleging assault by Marley and his associates, including Larry.

The allegations led to Marley and Larry being pointed out as prime suspects in MohBad’s unexpected death.

The police subsequently invited both men for questioning.

While Marley said he was not in the country and would need the police to guarantee his safety before returning to Nigeria, Larry has submitted himself for questioning.
