Music Record Label Group, G-Worldwide, Sues Kizz Daniel For N500 million
Music record label group, G-Worlwide, has slammed a N500 million suit on Kizz Daniel, a musician formerly on its label group.
According to reports, the musical group has engaged the services of popular Lagos lawyer, Olisa Agbakoba, to prosecute the case on its behalf in a Lagos High court.
It was gathered that the group is demanding from the musician general damages to the tune of N200 million, special damages for breach of contract to the tune of N179,499,957 and N150 million contract exit fees, among other reliefs.
Both G-Worldwide and Kiss Daniel have been in legal battles for some years ever since the artiste allegedly breached the terms of their contract.
As a result of the dispute, the artiste changed his stage name from Kiss to Kizz because G-Worldwide has trademarked the name Kiss, but this name change did not go down well with the label management.
However, Kiss Daniel has floated his own label called Flyboy Entertainment and has been able to release two albums under the label including ‘No Bad Songs.’
