Senate Announces Plan To Probe Acquisition Of N5 Billion Presidential Yacht
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Senate has revealed that it plans on probing the purchase of the N5 billion presidential yacht and the circumstances revolving around it.
The Senate Committee on Navy, chaired by the Senator representing Ogun East, Gbenga Daniel, made the resolution.

Daniel revealed that due to the uproar over the presidential yacht, the committee has decided to investigate the issues surrounding the controversial yacht within one week.
The senator’s media aide, Steve Oliyide announced the development via a statement on Wednesday.
Daniel said, “The uproar over the potential acquisition of the yacht has gained substantial attention since it was first disclosed in the media.
“Many Nigerians have voiced their concerns and criticism, with a significant number expressing displeasure about how such a luxury item can find its way into the Supplementary Budget.
“Given the conflicting and contradictory reports circulating in the media regarding the yacht’s acquisition, we have identified the need for a thorough investigation.“
