Eko Hot Blog reports that Representative Wale Raji, a distinguished Member of the House of Representatives, rallied the residents of Folu-Ise communities to throw their wholehearted support behind the ongoing road construction project.
According to reports, the road construction was initiated by the Federal Ministry of Works in their vicinity, in what may seem like an intense address on Sunday, January 7th, 2023.
The ambitious 3.2-kilometer road initiative, spearheaded by Rep. Raji, represents a comprehensive construction effort, complete with meticulously planned drainages and culverts.
The event witnessed the participation of influential Party Stalwarts from Epe, Eredo, Ikosi-Ejinrin, and Lekki LCDA, including notable figures such as the State Welfare Secretary of the APC, Hon. Kehinde Adeniyi, and former State Welfare Secretary, Alhaja Ramota Bankole.
Expressing his delight during the address, Representative Wale Raji highlighted his commitment to leaving a lasting legacy of impactful infrastructure development.
Having played a pivotal role in the tarring of the road network during his tenure as Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Agric and Cooperatives, Raji emphasized his dedication to further landmark constructions in his current capacity.
Acknowledging the initial challenges posed by budgetary constraints two years ago, Raji showcased his unwavering commitment by extending the Ise-Igbogun road, expressing gratitude to the community for their steadfast support.
He unveiled plans to collaborate with the lawmaker from Ogun State to address the necessity for further extension to the Lagos-Ogun State boundary.

In addition to road construction, Raji outlined initiatives aimed at addressing community needs, including the relocation of the Akodo-Ise Primary School, which was ravaged by ocean surges.
He also pledged personal funding for a modern toilet in the school. Emphasizing the importance of free passage for construction materials, Raji urged the council chairman to ensure toll collectors adhere to guidelines for the benefit of the larger community.
In his address to contractors and artisans, Raji called for cooperation and support while warning against any form of rascality or criminal behaviour.
He revealed past developmental projects, such as the construction of a school at Aboriji and the completion of the Primary Health Care Centre at Ori-Oye, underscoring his commitment to enhancing community life.
The Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Hon. Razak Bamidele Kasali, lauded Raji’s generosity and anticipated that the Folu-Ise road construction would alleviate transportation challenges and stimulate local economic growth.
HRM Oba Abdulganiu Adegbesan, the Onise of Ise Land, expressed joy for the impactful project and pledged his full support, alongside the Chairman of Lekki LCDA and community chiefs.
Engineer Olufemi Dare, the representative of the Federal Controller of Works, Lagos, Engr Mrs Olukorede Keisha, affirmed the project’s credibility, ensuring its supervision and the commitment of the contractor to a thorough job spanning a total length of 3.323 km and a width of 6 meters.
