Senator Abiru Pays Tribute To Prince Jide Kosoko On 70th Birthday

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committee On Finance, Insurance and other financial institutions, Senator Muhkahil Adetokunbo Abiru has conveyed hearty congratulations to the renowned Actor and Film Producer, Prince Babajide Kosoko, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

This was contained in a press statement personally signed by the Lawmaker on Monday.

According to the statement, Senator Abiru acknowledged Prince Kosoko’s commitment to excellence and professionalism, highlighting the actor’s role as a mentor to numerous young talents who have flourished under his guidance.

The statement partly reads:

“Prince Kosoko is a legend in the Nigerian movie industry, considering the remarkable contributions he has made to the development of acting profession since 1964 when he started as a Child Actor in an epic television production, called Makanjuola.”

“Over the years, he has maintained a reputation of excellence and professionalism in the entertainment industry. Prince Kosoko has also mentored many young actors into stardom and limelight.”
