Eko Hot Blog reports that Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen has gifted a young boy N2.5 million after the child was seen in a viral video dressing and playing football similar to the Super Eagles star.

The boy, wearing a mask like Osimhen’s, caught the footballer’s attention when popular Instagram blogger Tunde Ednut shared the clip on Tuesday. Osimhen reacted by asking for help locating the young fan.
Ednut wrote: “I initially thought this little man was Nigerian. You won’t believe we found him in Ivory Coast. #eriqmorak found him. He lives in Ivory Coast. I couldn’t see his message, so he reached out to #ogb recently\_ and OGB messaged me. I spoke to the family briefly to make sure it was the boy.”
With the help of Ednut and content creator Eriq Morak, the boy in Ivory Coast was found. Osimhen then reached out and gifted N2.5 million to the young fan.

The boy’s grateful family shared a video thanking Osimhen for his generosity. The footballer’s gift will surely inspire and motivate the young fan who imitated his playing style and wore a mask mimicking Osimhen’s protective face gear.
