Mukhtaar Tijani Leads LWC Officials On Courtesy Visit To Lagos HoS

Eko Hot Blog reports that Lagos Water Corporation (LWC) Managing Director, Engr. Mukhtaar Temitope Tijani, on Tuesday, paid a courtesy visit to the new Head of Service (HOS) of Lagos State, Mr. Olabode Shuaheeb Agoro at his office, Public Service Office, Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
Engr. Tijani was accompanied by the corporation’s Executive Director, Operations, Engr. (Mrs.) Helen Omolanke Taiwo to present a congratulatory gift and celebrate Agoro’s appointment as the 22nd Head of Service, Lagos State, while wishing him an exciting, successful and rewarding term in office.

Also present during the courtesy visit were Permanent Secretary, Office of Environmental Services, Dr. Tajudeen Gaji and Permanent Secretary, Office of Drainage Services, Engr. Olakunle Adegbite.
Agoro officially assumed office as the 22nd Head of Service on Friday 29th September, 2023, after the voluntary resignation of the past HOS, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola from the Lagos State Public Service.
Since then, the LWC boss said the HoS has continued in ensuring good welfare support and conducive work environment for all public servants across the state.
While swearing in Agoro, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, encouraged him to dedicate himself to governance and continue the legacy of his predecessors.
He emphasized the importance of public service in implementing policies and programmes in a diverse state like Lagos and emphasized the need for professionalism, efficient service delivery, and meeting global standards.
Sanwo-Olu also expressed his confidence in Agoro’s capability based on his exemplary contributions, dedication, and professionalism as a public servant over the years.
The HoS, in his response, pledged to build on the legacy of his predecessor and emphasized the importance of civil servants’ welfare and working environment.
