Procurement Process Vital To Governance – Lagos State Commissioner of Finance

Lagos State Commissioner for Finance, Dr. Rabiu Onaolapo, has declared that the procurement process is vital to governance, stressing that the process involved in procurement is crucial to achieving the laudable objectives of the present administration.

He said this at a meeting with a team of World Bank officials on a working visit to the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency (PPA) to assess the Agency’s level of compliance with international best practice.

Mr. Fatai Idowu Onafowote, GM Lagos State Public Procurement Agency (PPA) had earlier revealed that 4 e-procurement solution modules were deployed in Sept to 3 Ministries.

The GM also pointed out that since the commencement of the e-procurement process, the Agency had been receiving procurement requests from the 3 pilot Ministries and treating such requests digitally.
