However, he insists he expected more from his performance.
Despite facing criticism for his inefficiency in front of goal, the 29-year-old silenced doubters by scoring his 20th goal of the season—a crucial second-half header in the 72nd minute, securing Rangers a hard-fought 2-1 victory against St. Mirren and maintaining their pursuit of the Premiership title.
He also has eight assists in 49 games across all competitions.
Rangers opened the scoring in the 32nd minute when Zach Hemming failed to clear a cross, leading to James Bolton inadvertently deflecting the ball into his own net under pressure from Dessers.
The home side levelled the scores just five minutes later through Mikael Mandron.

It was the forward’s 20th goal across all competitions for the Light Blues this season.
