EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Kaduna State House of Assembly ad hoc committee set up to investigate financial transactions, including loans and contracts, undertaken by the Kaduna State Government from May 29, 2015, to May 29, 2023, has interrogated several commissioners who served in former Governor Nasir el-Rufai’s administration.

the Chairman of the committee, Henry Danjuma, said those summoned included former Commissioner for Public Works and Infrastructure, Thomas Gyang; former Commissioner for Education, Ja’afaru Ibrahim Sani; former Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr Manzo Daniel Maigari; former Commissioner for Administrator of Zaria Metropolitan Authority, Balarabe Aliyu; former Managing Director (MD) of Kaduna State Roads Agency (KADRA), Engr Mohammed Lawal Magaji; and Administrator of Kafanchan Metropolitan Authority, Phoebe Yayi Sukai.

Speaking to journalists at the assembly’s complex, Danjuma said, “Since the committee’s inauguration, we have been diligently carrying out our duties.
