Lagos News: Wale Raji
  • The 87 RRI Military recruitment exercise is currently ongoing.
  • Lagos State Government is urging indigenes to apply.
  • Epe’s federal lawmaker has also urged interested indigenes to visit his office.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Office of Wale Raji, the Member of House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency, says constituents interested in applying for the ongoing RRI Military recruitment exercise should visit its office.

In a notice obtained by Eko Hot Blog on Thursday, the lawmaker’s office asked the constituents to forward their acknowledge slips to the office.

It noted that only ten applicants will be selected on a first come, first served basis.

“Interested Applicants from Epe Federal Constituency should forward their acknowledge slips to Rep Wale Raji Constituency office,” Raji’s office said.

“Only 10 will be selected and it will be treated on the basis of First Come, First Served.”

The lawmaker’s notice comes after the Secretary to the Lagos State Government, Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, recently asked members of House of Representatives from Lagos State to urge indigenes to apply for the 87 RRI Military recruitment exercise.

Salu-Hundeyin, who lamented that Lagos has never met its quota for military recruitment, asked lawmakers to present at least 10 names and telephone numbers of their interested constituents.

The Lagos SSG said names must be received by the 25th of May 2024.

The candidates may also apply online via http://recruitment.army.mil.ng.
